Every city in Dalmatia offers plenty of instagrammable places. True story! Just walk the streets in any old town and there you go – every corner is charming and perfect for taking pictures. Well, here are some not-so-popular, but interesting and colorful places in Sibenik that are perfect for taking pictures and, most importantly, creating memories. Let’s check them out.

1. Car with bears

There is an old but very well-maintained Zastava car parked at the coast promenade in Sibenik. The owners decorated it with many stickers and put two big stuffed bears inside sitting at the passengers’ seats. It is a cute site. Also, the bears get dressed for Christmas and other occasions.

How cool is that car, right?

2. Mural at dm store at the bus station

The mural at the dm store next to the bus station is created by young illustrator, animator and street artist Marin Remić. It is very modern and at the same time includes typical Sibenik details such as the traditional local orange hat.

A pic of me at the murals. The afternoon sun is the best time to take pics here.

International Children’s Festival murals are located next to hotel Jadran and restaurant Pjat. These are very cute and colorful, crated by children during different editions of the festival. The murals have been there for several years now. Also, visiting Sibenik from mid-June to early July provides great photo opportunities as the whole old town is decorated with children’s drawings.

4. Graffiti door next to Banj Beach

I had been looking at this cool graffiti wall for years before I actually got there and took some pictures! It always attracted me because of the colors but it is not that accessible via the beach, to be honest. Still, if you need a colorful setting – this will work.

Bonus photo location nearby: Abandoned factory

If you continue walking along the seaside at Banj Beach, you will get to an abandoned factory which is now home to some colorful graffiti art right next to the seaside. The landscape is interesting for sure.

5. Empty frames wall next to gallery Juraj Dalmatinac

The empty picture frames on the typical made-of-stones wall next to gallery Juraj Dalmatinac in the old town represent a lovely décor for your photos. There is also a bench you can sit on and strike a pose.
